This is a sign used in Hong Kong to direct to the "silent" cars in the metro/train system. People are supposed to be quiet in those cars.

Hello, this silent sign in front of HKG's train doors is not because the people should be silent. Reason is because in this car the TV has no sound and people who do not like to be disturbed by the sound of a loud TV can use this car.
